FOR THE DREAMERS WITHOUT A DREAM
When the world seems too dark for us to handle, where do we go?
A long drive, with hair whipped by the wind, and bass thudding in our chests? A fantastical land with dragons, princes, and true love’s kiss?
Or maybe, just maybe, a book? A little collection of paper and glue, with dog-eared pages, a cracked spine that’s falling apart, and little pieces of our souls tucked between its pages. A story that reminds us, even just for a little bit, that hope is not too far gone.
Those are the types of stories I want to write. Stories for the people who’ve been battered by the world and need a reminder to get back up, just one more time. Stories for the people who need to know that no matter what you’ve done, or what has been done to you, you’re not too far gone. Hope can still find you in the valley.
I’m so glad you’re here. And, if these themes resonate, I’d love it if you’d stay for awhile.
